What it does
- Spending, income and net for any range of months, with transfers kept apart from real spending.
- Charts by category, by month, month by category, and by account.
- A full transaction table with filters on every column, where any category can be corrected by hand.
How it's built
- A Python pipeline reads statement PDFs, sorts each line into a category, applies hand-written rules, and bakes the result into one HTML page.
- Category corrections made on the page are saved and reapplied the next time it loads.
About the demo. Every transaction in the demo is invented: a made-up household's last twelve months, with generic merchants. Category edits stay in this browser.
