Collateral
A clickable collateral desk, from exposure down to the individual bond.

What it does
Collateral management: who owes whom margin, what has been posted against it, and which bonds are free to use. It usually lives in spreadsheets and email. This prototype shows what a proper screen for it could look like.
- An overview of exposure, posted and allocated collateral across agreement types, by day, month or year.
- Drill-downs to the agreement, counterparty and bond.
- An inventory manager and a rules engine for choosing which assets to post.
How it's built
- Three single-file pages, plain JavaScript and Chart.js. No backend.
- All the data is generated in the browser from a fixed random seed, so every value is made up.
- Every figure that shows up in two places comes from one shared function, so screens can't disagree.
About the demo. Every number in the demo is invented, and every counterparty is a made-up firm.
